This attractive ground-floor lodge apartment is set next to the owner''s property – Old Orchard Cottage, which was built on the site of a former orchard and enjoys lovely gardens. The apartment is ideally situated in a tranquil location just outside the town of Harrogate, with the Harrogate Convention Centre just 3 miles away, making this an ideal retreat for a couple or a business visitor. Children are welcome but please bring your own cot and high chair.

 

From the car parking area there is easy level access to the front door. The entrance hallway leads to spacious and beautifully light open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which features comfy seating , SkyTV (freeview only), a pretty dining area and a stylish kitchen. There’s a large king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Outside, you can relax on a private patio, with a larger shared garden also available for use. Off-road parking is available for one car.

 

The town centre is easily accessible, and the vibrant market town of Knaresborough is 2 miles away. The nearest train station is less than a mile away, and you will be ideally placed for enjoying all that Harrogate has to offer including RHS Gardens Harlow Carr (4 miles), The Stray, Yorkshire Event Centre, the Royal Pump Room Museum and Betty’s Cafe Tea Rooms (all within 3 miles). The Valley Gardens and Cold Bath Road, where you will find a wide array of excellent eateries and shops, are also nearby (3 ½ miles).

Good position for exploring the area by car or public transport with the bus and train within handy reach. Very comfortable with everything required for a pleasant stay.

The Lodge is a little gem in a good location for visiting local towns and also close to bus stops for visiting various places The property is in excellent condition and is very comfortable and relaxing and is a credit to the owners

Highly recommend this property! Debbie and Nick have thought of everything you could need and so much more! There is easy access to many tourist attractions along with natural beauty, Would definitely return to this little gem.
